Dear Friends of the Parents Matter Coalition:

Thank you for your help and commitment to the PMC “Right to Parent Ballot Initiative.” Knowing
that you’re all busy with the obligations that life brings makes your dedication to restore parental
rights even more special to us.

While we did not meet the 328,000 valid signature threshold necessary, and we may be
disappointed in the end result of this particular project, we can all be proud of what we
accomplished together and how your support will continue to make a worthy difference for
families and our communities.

About

The Parents Matter Coalition (PMC) was started by a group of Illinois parents concerned with
protecting their minor children. As the state of Illinois continues to encroach upon parents’ right
to be involved in their children’s lives – particularly within the context of major life-altering
decisions such as abortion or gender modifying therapies and treatments – PMC came together
to push back against the government’s interference in parent-child relationships.

The mission of the Parents Matter Coalition is to help parents and the community reclaim and
restore the rights for parents and guardians to parent their minor children, free from government
overreach.

How do I sign?

Unfortunately, all petitions must be signed in person. You can contribute your signature to the effort in one of two ways:

1) by signing your own sheet (and collecting the signatures of your family and friends), then having it notarized and mailing it to P.O. Box 1503 Wheaton, IL 60187. To download instructions and a petition, click here.
